Grin & BARE It... When Unfortunate Events Happen to You or Your Company

We've all experienced an embarrassing moment or two (or several more than that, unfortunately), which seemed at the time...impossible to recover from, right? Everyone has "just one of those days."

Take Desperate Housewives bombshell Eva Longoria for example... In a recent slide show published by Fox News , Eva apparently had a major "wardrobe malfunction" in Cannes, France, when the crowd learned she was not wearing any underwear with her beautiful green dress (yes, these unflattering situations even occur to celebrities).

The good news? There is always a simple way to bounce back from unfavorable press ...whether it's your individual image your your business reputation on the line.

At the PR Whores Online Reputation Management Firm we are solely dedicated to managing negative publicity (from "wardrobe malfunctions" to bad customer reviews online) in your favor.

We can help suppress antagonistic criticism and/or photos by devising ORM strategies for you which include:

-- press releases
-- YouTube videos
-- frequent blogs
-- new products/services announcements
-- publicity of you or your company's community involvement/"Good Samaritan" efforts
-- testimonials & success stories from your B2B contacts or personal references

So whether you've personally had a 'minor encounter' with law enforcement or your company has been dinged with less-than-positive reviews on the World Wide Web...the PR Whores can help.

We can immediately generate a public relations campaign to preserve/save your image, using effective methods like Online Reputation Management ( ORM ), as well as our aggressive Search Engine Marketing ( SEM ) efforts.

For more information about our services visit our web site: PRWhores.com or contact us at: (770) ORM -1802 TODAY.

Don't just "grin & bare it," be proactive about your image on and offline NOW.

3 Ways to Make Positive Memories This Memorial Day Weekend 2013

Memorial Day weekend... it's a U.S. national holiday many Americans associate with having a 3-day weekend, hitting the beach & even irresistible promotional sales from your favorite stores or shopping sites.

But what is Memorial Day really about? Turns out, this famous (or maybe infamous for others) national holiday was actually set in 1868 for May the 5th, to honor those who died during World War I.

It wasn't until the National Holiday Act of 1971 that Memorial Day was moved to the last Monday of May and changed to commemorate all Americans who died in any war, and not just those killed in the World War I line of fire.

Fast forward to today... where Memorial Day has now become more of a pre-summer bash comprised of skimpy bikinis & coolers full of ice-cold beer for hundreds of thousands of Americans.

The question now is: Have we lost the true meaning of honoring those who served our country, or have we just evolved as free-spirits in our ability to celebrate national holidays?

At the PR Whores Online Reputation Managment Firm we most certainly want all of you to enjoy your 3-day weekend...but we also urge you to make wise decisions in order to protect your image as well as your reputation on and offline. Here are

3 Things You Can Do to Make Positive Memorial Day Memories in 2013:

1. Set an auto-reply for your work email account if you are going on vacation. This will inform your colleagues and prospective clients/customers that you are out of town temporarily, and that you aren't just ignoring their messages. You may want to update the voice message greeting on your mobile device as well, if you generally receive a lot of work calls outside of typical business hours.

2) Be mindful of the status updates & pictures you post on your social media accounts. Thanks to the evolution of the internet...just about anyone can look you up on the web at any time and discover those not-so-professional photos of you in a scantily clad outfit, drinking alcoholic beverages/smoking a cigarette, or simply engaging in debaucherous activities in a public setting (aka, having fun). These posts, although they may be very engaging to viewers, may not be the most flattering for your career image, should someone work-related come across them...so be careful what you upload!

3) Resume your work week at full-speed, sans the hangover or "laid back beach bum" demeanor. When your cohorts and  other business contacts see that you are conducting business as usual immediately after your holiday weekend festivities, they will continue to hold you in high regard and respect you in the workplace (and rightfully so)!

So there you have it. 3 simple ways you can indirectly preserve (or even improve) your merit both in person, and on the internet.

These easy-to-follow tips from our PR Whores team may just keep you out of hot water (unless it's the beach)...so you can avoid the need for Online Reputation Management or any Public Relations services to execute damage control after what some would view as a "wild weekend" in paradise.

Here's to an unforgettable Memorial Day weekend bash...without an individual or professional reputation crash!

Tebow & Arrow: Does Football Star Tim Tebow Actually Have a Bright Future in the NFL ?

Tim Tebow is front and center in the media again.

But this time...it’s not a result of his publicly disclosed faith or his phenomenal abilities on the gridiron.

Now it's because his fans and the media are raving about the recent results of the 2013 NFL Draft ( which, for those of you who don't know, left Tebow canned and without a current position on any NFL team roster ).

To bring you up to speed if you don't follow college sports ... Tebow’s NFL quarterback career , as we know it, now officially is in question.

The New York Jets reportedly dumped Tebow last week, and no other football teams are showing interest at the moment in taking up this young Christian athlete ( who is known mostly for his college career at the University of Florida ).

To add insult to (non-sports related) injury, statistics like Tebow's draft results typically show that one successful season and an “iconic status” in the NFL doesn't quite seem to be enough to guarantee a spot on any pro roster in the future.

Whether Tebow will have a future career in the NFL or not is unclear, but one thing is evident at this point in Tebow’s journey: he will not give up or stay down for very long.

If you're like us at the PR Whores Firm and you're a fan of Tebow’s football career or his passion for standing up publicly for his religious beliefs, we can't deny that the man certainly is resilient.

At PR Whores we suspect ( from evaluating his work ethic and character over the past decade ), that this Florida alum will make it big in life... even if his NFL career is over like a 64-bit Super Mario Kart game gone bad.

We're well aware that Tebow probably won't need the specialized PR and marketing skills of our staff here at PR Whores (to make his reputation look sexy online again), because Tebow is a fighter and we're sure he will rise again very soon (and plus he's already sexy. There. We said it!).

Nonetheless, our online reputation management  ( ORM ) team is here for companies, as well as high-profile individuals in similar situations.

The PR Whores want to help all you wonderful people out there  who are in need of guidance for managing negative press online

Our current roster & existing clients include:

- celebrities, actors & musicians

- athletes & recreational organizations

- business executives & corporate employees

- pastors, priests or religious leaders

- CEOs, COOs, CMOs, & CFOs

- small business owners or sales people

-- and even an entire brand identity.

So basically what we're trying to say is this: Why not give the experts in Negative PR Management the reigns to bring your reputation back to life? The PR Whores promise to make your business (or individual reputation) look sexy online.

Feel free to email us for more details at: info@PRWhores.com or give us a call today at (770) ORM-1802.

And if you're reading this Tim Tebow , we are here for you too, buddy... if you need our PR help (or a date for Saturday night. Wink!).--The PR Whores

"Think-o" de Mayo: 3 Reasons Why Excessive Cinco Celebrations Could Damage Your Reputation

It's funny how Cinco de Mayo has become a bigger deal in the U.S. than in Mexico.

Many people aren't even aware of its significance. No, it's not Mexican Independence Day, as many may believe... It's actually a commemoration of the Mexican army's victory over the French during the Franco-Mexican war in 1862!

Okay it wasn't really a victory... but the 2,000 rag-tag soldiers fighting for Mexico basically forced the 6,000 men from the French army to withdraw less than 24 hours after storming the city of Puebla.

In a nutshell, although the Mexican army was outnumbered & poorly equipped to go into battle, they were able to stand strong against France, forcing the French to raise a white flag first.

And that, dear friends, is the reason why we celebrate the 5th of May!

So why is the PR Whores Online Reputation Management Firm blogging about Cinco de Mayo ? Here's why-- because for the thousands (or maybe millions) of us who will be taking part in debaucherous activities today, it is imperative that we do not celebrate to excess...for the sake of our reputations!

With that being said, here are 3 reasons why extravagant Cinco celebrations could be detrimental to your image:

1) The paparazzi are everywhere. You don't have to be a celebrity to fall victim to candid pictures taken by fellow margarita-drinkers who you may or may not know... People lovvvvve to take pictures (especially when there are adult libations involved), and you never know where those photos will end up. Wouldn't you hate to wake up tomorrow to find pics of yourself in a drunken stupor, polluting your Facebook news feed and Instagram home page? Yikes. Hopefully your hair will have at least looked nicely tousled... and let's pray everyone noticed your killer outfit more than your inebriated facial expressions!

2) You may inadvertently become a movie star overnight. With the majority of adults carrying smart phones these days, chances are someone will break out the video camera on their mobile device and capture you and your crew's gregarious shenanigans. Next thing you know, your low-budget "movie" has gone viral on YouTube and viewers worldwide will be laughing uncontrollably at you...and not with you. Remember the curling iron hair tutorial video that totally bonked, but went viral because it was hilarious? That could happen to you.

3) Your hometown is a lot smaller than you think. We live in Atlanta, and while most believe it to be a "big city," it's actually not. You know how we know? Because meeting others in Atlanta is like playing the "6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon" game. Everyone you meet knows at least one person you know, are related to, or have dated. What that means is, people talk. It's always good to be mindful of your behavior (especially in alcohol establishments) because you never know who will be gossiping about you and your seemingly harmless actions at the water cooler tomorrow. Just a heads up.

Don't get us wrong...the PR Whores aren't saying you SHOULDN'T enjoy Cinco de Mayo ... we're merely advising you to be vigilant about your surroundings as well as what you do or say while you're out celebrating.

As a public relations company we've dealt with quite a bit of unfortunate incidents which have required immediate attention to preserve a company's (or high-profile individual's) reputation on the internet. Don't let those unfortunate incidents happen to you.

Our motto at PR Whores for this pseudo-holiday is simply this: "Think-o before you drink-o on Cinco."

Let the fiesta begin!
